Liftoff: SpaceX Launches Falcon 9 Spacecraft

Dec. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Space Exploration Technologies Corp., the rocket maker led by Elon Musk, successfully launched its Falcon 9 spacecraft from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, at 5:41 p.m. New York time. The Falcon 9 later deployed the commercial SES-8 telecommunications satellite into earth orbit for SES SA. (Source: Bloomberg)
