Intel Plant Refills Aquifer for Arizona Desert City

Sept. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Matt Brandy, environmental health and safety manager at Intel Corp., talks about the processing of industrial wastewater at a company treatment facility in Chandler, Arizona. Each day, 2 million gallons of industrial wastewater are piped from Intel plants in Chandler to the facility a mile away where they are treated, then returned to an underground aquifer.
