Bulgari: Eye to Eye (3/10)

March 10 (Bloomberg) -- Francesco Trapani is the heir of the Bulgari Empire. The great-grandson of the company's founder, Mr. Trapani became CEO of Bulgari at the age of 27 and worked tirelessly to expand the group's reach, stepping up the competition with arch-competitor Cartier. His strategy has rewarded him. Today Bulgari is the crown jewel of LVHM - the world's biggest luxury group - of which Mr Trapani leads the watches and jewelry division. The marriage with LVMH - worth 4 billion dollars - was one of the biggest deals within the luxury industry and unprecedented in terms of incentives for the Bulgari family. Francesco Trapani is the man who made that happen. (Source: Bloomberg)
