April 11 (Bloomberg) -- Matthew Moy, a third-year medical student, talks about his educational loans, the majority from his training at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. As the cost of college has increased faster than inflation over four decades, the price of medical school has risen even faster, from $3,075 in the 1975-1976 year to $48,254 in the 2011-2012 academic year.
