Early Earnings Reports Beating a Positive Path

Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Dominic Chu looks at the S&P 500 members that have reported so far this earnings season and found that 14 of 16 companies have beaten analyst estimates for an average of 88 percent. 16 more are scheduled to report today and he previews some of next week's big companies expected to report.
