May 15 (Bloomberg) -- Idris Jala, a minister in the Malaysian Prime Minister's Department, talks about the nation's economy and government policies. The Malaysian government said this week it's on track to achieve a goal of becoming a high-income nation by 2020 as the country enters the mid-point of a 10-year program to transform the economy and reduce reliance on oil revenues. Reserve Bank of Australia Announces New Governor
30:08 - Philip Lowe will replace Glenn Stevens as governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia for a seven-year term on Sept. 18, Treasurer Scott Morrison said in a statement. “Dr. Lowe brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of governor, having served as the RBA deputy governor since early 2012,” Morrison said.
