Google Wins Battle for Waze in $1.1B Deal

June 10 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg Middle East Editor Elliott Gotkine reports that Google has agreed to acquire map-software provider Waze Inc. for about $1.1 billion in a bid to preserve its lead in mobile-navigation programs. He speaks on Bloomberg Television's "Countdown."
