China Policies Steadied Property Prices: Swire CEO

Aug. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Martin Cubbon, chief executive officer of Swire Properties Ltd., talks about the company's first-half earnings, China's real-estate market and Swire's expansion in the U.S. Hong Kong's second-biggest landlord said yesterday that underlying profit rose 34 percent, beating analysts' estimates, on higher rental income and an increase in home sales.
