Venezuela Refinery Fire Damages Homes, Buildings

Aug. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Nearby homes and buildings were damaged by a fire at Petroleos de Venezuela SA's Amuay refinery that started on Aug. 25 after a natural-gas leak formed a cloud that exploded. Production at Venezuela's largest refinery remained stalled for a sixth day as the state-owned oil company prepares to resume the main processing units after extinguishing fires at storage tanks.
