The two biggest sportswear companies in the world, Nike and Adidas, are fighting to own the soccer market, each with different strategies. Adidas is sticking with their 40-year tradition serving as the marquee sponsor of the World Cup but Nike's slow and steady build-up of sponsored teams, players and ads could take them over the top to become the world's biggest soccer brand.
