Obama Urges Senate to Confirm Court Appointments

June 4 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama speaks about his nominations for judicial appointments and asks Senate Republicans to stop what he calls partisan obstruction, saying that holding up his nominees is harming the federal court system. Obama, speaking in the White House's Rose Garden, said he's nominating Patricia Ann Millett, Robert Wilkins and Cornelia Pillard to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. (Excerpt.
