July 24 (Bloomberg) -- Robert Shanks, chief financial officer of Ford Motor Co., talks about the automaker's second-quarter earnings, prospects for the company’s growth and the City of Detroit’s bankruptcy. Ford, the second-largest U.S. automaker, earned more than estimates and raised its full-year profit forecast as the Focus compact and Fusion sedan led a stable of more competitive cars from the Detroit Three.
