Obama's Own Words on Syria Chemical Arms, Diplomacy

Sept. 11 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama offers his views on U.S. intelligence reports indicating that the Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons against its citizens, a possible U.S. military strike in response and prospects for diplomacy. Obama, in a nationally televised address last night, pulled the U.S. from the brink of military action to pursue "encouraging signs" of a possible diplomatic solution. (Excerpts. Source: Bloomberg)
