July 5 (Bloomberg) -- Work has officially begun on the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station 30 years after the London site was closed. The iconic building is just one section of the Nine Elms development which stretches down the Thames' South Bank. It has been labeled Europe's largest redevelopment site.
