Rupkey Sees `Positive' Jan. Jobs Report

Jan. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Chris Rupkey, chief financial economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, discusses U.S. initial jobless claims for the week ended Jan. 26, consumer spending for December and the outlook for tomorrow's January jobs report. Claims for unemployment benefits rose 38,000 to 368,000, the Labor Department reported today in Washington. Consumer spending rose 0.2 percent after a 0.4 percent gain the prior month a Commerce Department report showed. (Source: Bloomberg)

Twitter's 'Firehose' Plan to Be Profitable in 2017
