U.S. Jobless Claims Fell; Productivity Rose

Sept. 5 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. initial jobless claims declined by 9,000 to 323,000, fewer than forecast, in the week ended Aug. 31, according to Labor Department data issued today in Washington. 21:48 - The British Library in London has warned that many of the U.K.'s audio treasures will be lost in the next 15 years unless urgent action is taken. The campaign, Save Our Sounds, is looking for £40 Million in funding to preserve the nation’s sound heritage. Bloomberg was there to hear more.
