July 10 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, a Democrat from Michigan and chairman of the Agriculture Committee, talks about today's hearing on the proposed $4.7 billion acquisition of Smithfield Foods Inc., the world’s largest pork supplier, by Shuanghui International Ltd. of China.
