Chris Rupkey on Consumer Spending, GDP Report

Dec. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Chris Rupkey, chief financial economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, talks about the U.S. third-quarter gross domestic product report released today. GDP climbed at a 4.1 percent annualized rate, the strongest since the final three months of 2011 and up from a previous estimate of 3.6 percent, Commerce Department figures showed today in Washington.
