June 19 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. House Majority Leader-elect Kevin McCarthy, a Republican from California, and Majority Whip-elect Steve Scalise, a Republican from Louisiana, talk about their promotion to those posts. McCarthy will replace Representative Eric Cantor of Virginia, who plans to resign the leadership post July 31.
