Chris Rupkey on Economic Data, Deflation Concern

Oct. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Chris Rupkey, chief financial economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, talks about consumer price index data and the ADP national employment report released today. The consumer price index increased 0.2 percent in September, after rising 0.1 percent the prior month, Labor Department data showed in Washington. ADP reported a 130,000 increase in October employment which is weaker than initially estimated, according to the ADP Research Institute in Roseland, New Jersey. (Source: Bloomberg)
