CFL Commissioner's Changes to the League Pay Off
23:18 - After two years of declines in ratings, the Canadian Football League is averaging about 630,000 viewers a game this season -- up 10% from last year. That could be attributed to Jeffrey Orridge who became commissioner of the league in April of 2015 and has since unveiled a new logo to reinvigorate the brand, a fresh digital strategy to attract the next generation of fans, and rule changes to make the game both more thrilling and safer. But there's still more work to do. In an interview with Bloomberg TV Canada's Amanda Lang, Orridge outlines how he plans to grow the game of Canadian football in North America and globally, as well as how he's mitigating concussion injuries in the league.
