Mondelez Transaction Too Risky, PepsiCo CFO Says

July 24 (Bloomberg) -- Hugh Johnston, chief financial officer of PepsiCo Inc., talks about second-quarter earnings and the outlook for an acquisition of cookie maker Mondelez International Inc. Net income rose 35 percent to $2.01 billion, or $1.28 a share, from $1.49 billion, or 94 cents, a year earlier, Purchase, New York-based PepsiCo said today in a statement.
