Sept. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Kevin Tynan, auto analyst for Bloomberg Industries, talks about Ford Motor Co.'s succession plan for Chief Executive Officer Alan Mulally. Directors are preparing to promote Mark Fields to chief operating officer from president of the Americas, a move that anoints him as Mulally's probable successor, according to a person familiar with the plan.
