Jan. 21 (Bloomberg) -- De Beers' new diamond trading center in Botswana holds its first "Sight" sale of the year today. Almost half the stones sold will - at some point - pass through Dubai, which has come from nowhere to become one of biggest players in the diamond trade. How did it do it?
