June 11 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor lost his re-election bid on Tuesday, falling to Tea Party challenger David Brat in a Virginia Republican primary in one of the biggest upsets in modern congressional history. Here are excerpts of Brat's victory speech followed by Cantor's concession speech.

Rather than hastening the disintegration of the European Union, the U.K.’s vote to leave the bloc two months ago has triggered a different collateral effect, at least for the meantime, as investors expect the European Central Bank to add stimulus to shield the region from any economic fallout.
