Groupon's Books Face Renewed SEC Scrutiny
Aug. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Groupon Inc. said it will disclose more detail about its financial performance after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission asked the largest daily-deal website to revise some of its accounting practices. Sky Sales Rise With 808,000 New Customers
39:49 - Sky Plc sales rose more than analysts expected in the latest financial year as the pay-television provider fought off rising competition from BT Group Plc and others. The company, which counts Rupert Murdoch’s Twenty-First Century Fox Inc. as its largest shareholder, said revenue increased 7 percent to 12 billion pounds ($15.8 billion) in the 12 months through June 30. Analysts expected sales of 11.8 billion pounds, according to the average of estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
