Ericsson to Record $1.2B Cost for Wireless Venture

Ericsson AB, the world’s largest maker of mobile-phone networks, said it will record an expense of about 8 billion kronor ($1.2 billion) for writing down the value of its wireless-chip venture with STMicroelectronics NV.
