April 5 (Bloomberg) -- Herminio Blanco, Mexico’s candidate for the leadership of the World Trade Organization, talks about the need for the WTO to complete the Doha Round of trade negotiations that have been pending for more than a decade.
Blanco, a former minister of commerce and industrial development, is competing against eight contenders to succeed Director-General Pascal Lamy, whose term expires Aug. 31. He spoke yesterday with Bloomberg editors and reporters at Bloomberg News headquarters in New York. (Source: Bloomberg)
