Bernanke on Fed's Impact on Housing, MBS Markets

Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said the central bank’s easing policies are helping to improve demand for housing and cars. Bernanake, speaking before the House Financial Services Committee, also said the Fed's asset purchases haven't disrupted the markets for Treasuries or mortgage-backed securities. (This is an excerpt.
