Wage Increase Risks Fast-Food Crisis, Saltsman Says

Aug. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Michael Saltsman, research director at the Employment Policies Insitute, talks with Bloomberg's Leslie Patton about the likely impact of an increase in the minimum wage on fast-food chains. Thousands of fast-food workers went on strike for higher wages today in cities including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Milwaukee and Indianapolis, according to local organizers and the Service Employees International Union, which is advising the strikers.
