James Holmes Appears in Colorado Court

July 23 (Bloomberg) -- James Holmes, the suspect in the shooting deaths of 12 people at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, appeared for an initial hearing today in state court in Centennial. He was advised of his rights, and that he is suspected of first degree murder, and ordered to return to court on July 30.
