Android in Orbit: Your Smartphone Goes to Space

Oct. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg Businessweek's Ashlee Vance visits PhoneSat, maker of ultra-cheap nanosatellites powered by discarded smartphones. Through a partnership with NASA and other commercial space exploration organizations, Phonesat's devices orbit Earth and send back image data to scientists on the ground.

Silicon Valley Redefines 'Big Money'
