Hong Kong's 13M Ton a Day Garbage Mountain

April 22 (Bloomberg) –- As you throw away that disposable coffee cup this morning, just pause for a moment. Today is Earth Day, but just like every other day, Hong Kong alone will generate an estimated 13 thousand tons of garbage.
