Hong Kong's 13M Ton a Day Garbage Mountain

April 22 (Bloomberg) –- As you throw away that disposable coffee cup this morning, just pause for a moment. Today is Earth Day, but just like every other day, Hong Kong alone will generate an estimated 13 thousand tons of garbage. This year's Earth Day them is Green Cities, and as Bloomberg's Paul Allen reports, one Hong Kong company has created a system that might help the city reduce its waste. (Source: Bloomberg)
