White House Defends Verizon Data Collection

June 6 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Julianna Goldman reports that the Obama administration is collecting the telephone records of millions of U.S.-based Verizon customers as a tool in fighting terrorism, relying on a secret court order obtained under a George W.
