Texas Putting Women's Health at Risk, Wheat Says

Sept. 28 (Bloomberg) –- Sarah Wheat, vice president for communications at Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, talks with Bloomberg’s Kathy Warbelow about the state's takeover of the Women's Health Program and the possible impact on health services for the poor. Texas is taking over the federal-state program that serves 130,000 low-income women on Nov. 1 in a showdown over the state's determination to evict Planned Parenthood because the Texas clinics are affiliated with an organization that provides abortions.
