Xstrata Board Backs Bid, Global Airline Profits

Oct. 1 (Bloomberg) -- In today's "Bloomberg Equities Report," Bloomberg's Betty Liu reports that Xstrata's board is backing Glencore's bid for the company, global airline profits are forecast to rise for the year and Faceook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is traveling to Moscow to attend as programming conference.
