Hertz Cleared for $2.6B Dollar Thrifty Purchase

Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Scarlet Fu reports that Hertz Global Holdings Inc.’s $2.6 billion purchase of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. was cleared by U.S. antitrust regulators after the company agreed to shed assets to ensure the deal doesn’t harm consumers. She speaks on Bloomberg Television's "Bloomberg Surveillance."
