Hertz Cleared for $2.6B Dollar Thrifty Purchase

Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Scarlet Fu reports that Hertz Global Holdings Inc.’s $2.6 billion purchase of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. was cleared by U.S. antitrust regulators after the company agreed to shed assets to ensure the deal doesn’t harm consumers.
