July 12 (Bloomberg) -- White House Press Secretary Jay Carney talks about U.S. efforts to exert diplomatic pressure on Russia to expel former security contractor Edward Snowden, today’s resignation of U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and the prospects for passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. Snowden has been in the transit area of Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport since June 23, after he fled Hong Kong. Carney speaks to reporters at the daily news briefing at the White House.
