Shinola: Inside Detroit's Unlikely Luxury Brand

June 2 (Bloomberg) –- Located in an old General Motors building in Detroit, there is a watchmaker on the verge of explosive growth. Shinola sold 50,000 watches last year and is on track to triple that number this year. With craftsmanship on par with its Swiss counterparts, the company says its $600-$1000 watches are a deal.
