July 2 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Sheila Dharmarajan marks Wal-Mart's 50th anniversary with a look at the company's growth from one store in Rogers, Arkansas to more than 10,000 worldwide, with totally yearly sales in 2011 reaching $444 billion. The company's associates represent 1 percent of the entire U.S. labor force.
