Davidson & Co., and Philip Khinda, co-head of Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement practice at Steptoe & Johnson, talk about the withdrawal of KPMG LLP as the auditor for Herbalife Ltd. and Skechers U.S.A. Inc. KPMG fired the head of its Los Angeles audit practice after learning that the partner provided inside information to someone who used it to trade stocks in the companies.
