Regional top seed Connecticut next will face 12th-seeded Brigham Young University in the third round.
Another No. 1 seed, South Carolina, moved on to face fourth-seeded North Carolina. Also winning last night were Penn State, Maryland, Louisville, Texas A&M and LSU.
