Gamesa Gets 128 Megawatt Wind-Turbine Order for Brazil Project
Gamesa Corp. Tecnologica SA (GAM), Spain’s largest wind-turbine maker, will supply 128 megawatts of equipment to Corp. Gestamp for five projects in Brazil’s northern municipality of Lagoa Nova.
The 64 turbines are scheduled for delivery over the course of next year, Zamudio, Spain-based Gamesa said today on its website. The terms weren’t disclosed. The wind farms are expected to begin operations at the end of 2014.
