Sinohydro Approves Spending of Up to $39.2 Million on Laos Plant
Sinohydro Group Ltd. (601669), China’s biggest builder of hydroelectric dams, said its board of directors approved a plan to spend as much as $39.2 million on preliminary work at a hydroelectric project in Laos.
The board also approved investment of 4.41 billion yuan ($724 million) on a construction project in Yantai in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong, the company said today in a filing to the Shanghai stock exchange, without providing details.
