Berkshire Cuts Energy Capital Plan by $2.4 Billion Through 2021
MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co., the power producer owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc., cut its capital spending plan by $2.4 billion through 2021 as the company revised its projection for demand.
MidAmerican will spend about $11.8 billion over the next three years for projects including transmission and generation expansion, the unit of Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire said today in a regulatory filing.
