Romania Utility Calls for Arges Water-Treatment Work Bids

The Romanian water utility Apa Canal 2000 SA is seeking bids for water-treatment works in the southern county of Arges under a contract valued at 27.7 million lei ($8.4 million).
Bids are due April 11 for the 21-month contract, which includes waste improvements for the towns of Costesti, Budeasa, Merisani, Mosoaia, Pitesti, Stefanesti and Topoloveni, according to a Feb. 23 European Union procurement statement.
