Panasonic Starts Shipping Solar Products From New Malaysia Plant
Panasonic Corp. began shipping solar products from its new plant in Malaysia that increases the company’s annual production capacity by 300 megawatts.
The facility in the state of Kedah begun output in December and shipment of modules started, the Osaka-based company said today in a statement.
Panasonic’s total module production capacity is 900 megawatts a year after the start of output at the Malaysian plant, according to the statement.
