Spain’s Diesel, Gasoline Demand Decline in December, Cores Says

Spain’s diesel consumption dropped 8.6 percent in December, according to Corporacion de Reservas Estrategicas de Productos Petroliferos, or Cores.
Consumption fell to 1.67 million metric tons last month, according to preliminary data posted today on the government agency’s website. Gasoline use decreased 8.3 percent to 399,000 tons, the data show.
The drop in consumption for both fuels was the biggest since September, compared with the same month a year ago, the data show.
