VA Tech Wabag Brno won a contract of more than 7 million euros ($9.3 million) to build a water treatment plant in Turkey.
Vitkovice Power Engineering, the contractor for the plant, placed the order, according to a statement on the Wabag group’s website. The plant will treat water for the 290-megawatt Yunus Emre power plant, under construction in Turkey’s Eskisehir province.
The facility will clean 900 cubic meters of water per hour, of which 850 cubic meters will be used to cool the power plant and 40 cubic meters will be used by the plant boilers.
