British Pound Erases its Gain Versus Dollar to Trade at $1.5825

The pound erased its gain versus the dollar, leaving it little changed at $1.5825 at 8:38 a.m. London time, having risen as much as 0.2 percent to $1.5864.
Sterling depreciated 0.3 percent to 84.33 pence per euro, after slumping to 84.41 pence, the weakest level since Feb. 29.
